The Commonwealth has a 2.4 billion population of which 60 per cent are under 30 years old. It represents a billion middle-class consumers. The combined gross domestic product of Commonwealth countries is predicted to reach US$13 trillion post 2020 (pre-COVID). The Commonwealth represents 40% of the global workforce and half of the top 20 global emerging cities.

AFAB World (Asia)

The CFC and AFAB World are building a Commonwealth Fashion District in Kuala Lumpur with the support of the Malaysian Government.

Knit One Change One (Pacific)

We work with KOCO to support knitting hubs across southern India to support women through mathematics, reading and handwriting in English and to increase income, so they can support their families.

University of Herefordshire UH (Europe)

The CFC is building the first ever Commonwealth Fashion Education Symposium with UH.

United nations UN Food and agriculture organisation (pan-Commonwealth)

The CFC partnered with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation to develop a series of events on Blue Fashion–which is the sustainable use of Ocean based materials within fashion, such as fish skins (bi product) and seaweed.

Plexus Cotton (Europe, Africa, Asia)

We work with Plexus Cotton on many things, helping secure media positioning and access to keynote speaker opportunities for CHOGM. Plexus Cotton and the CFC helped establish the Fashion Council of Uganda.

Caramel Rock (Europe)

The CFC established the Commonwealth Fashion Education Initiative with Caramel Rock, who are a fashion education charity based in Newham, London.

Canadian international fashion film festival (pan-Commonwealth)

CANIFFF is the home of the first ever Commonwealth Fashion Film Award category–with over 200 submissions.
