“The Commonwealth makes the world safe for diversity”
– Nelson Mandela
This is a unique opportunity to join the first official NFT collection endorsed by a Commonwealth organisation post The Queens Speech (delivered by HRH Prince Charles) which outlined HM Governments commitment ‘that will see stablecoins recognised as a valid form of payment as part of wider plans to make Britain a global hub for cryptoasset technology and investment.’
Buyers will also get the opportunity to order a physical pair of limited edition, vegan leather shoes created by Sheffield-based shoemakers Goral & Son.
The People Planet Hope NFTs are part of a wider movement by Commonwealth Governments to embrace NFTs, blockchains and digital currencies.
The contemporary Commonwealth is made up of 56 nations, 2.5 billion people reside within todays Commonwealth, with 40% of the global work force living within. 60% of the 2.4 billion people are below the age of 30 years and Commonwealth GDP stands at $13 trillion USD. The diversity of today’s Commonwealth provides practical hope’ when it comes to fashion inclusion.
Proceeds from the NFTs will go toward funding the Commonwealth Fashion Council – organisation which promotes Commonwealth Fashion and helps improve and develop fashion projects across the 54 nations of the Commonwealth.
